The Nation of Tiurabo is a colossal, cultured nation, ruled by Archon MacNeill with an even hand, and remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 6.573 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The government -- a sprawling, bureaucracy-choked, corrupt morass -- devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Social Welfare and Social Equality receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Archona. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 10%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Gambling and Information Technology.

Mobile phone masts are being erected all over the country, several citizens have complained about scientists abducting their pets for experimentation, mining safety laws are often more expensive than what's being mined, and fewer people are bathing as citizens must show ration stamps before they can turn on their faucets. Crime is crippling, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Tiurabo's national animal is the two headed eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is animism, and its currency is the tollar.

Tiurabo is ranked 26th in Gholgoth and 92,405th in the world for Most Compassionate Citizens, scoring -132 on the Kitten Softness Rating.
