The Glorius Imperium of Titanisa is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Empereor Erebus the 8th with an iron fist, and notable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 4.07 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Defence, although Law & Order and Education are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Glorus Cathirnus. The average income tax rate is 89%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

The bonfire of the old paper records can be seen for miles around Glorus Cathirnus, terrified tympanists are finding themselves on the front lines armed only with kettledrums, phone taps are frequently carried out by the police, and homeless people are periodically found dead upon altars to assorted deities. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Titanisa's national animal is the wolf, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Imperial Deity, and its currency is the titas.

Titanisa is ranked 1st in The Mandalorian Empire and 9,050th in the world for Largest Public Sector, scoring 22 on the Bureaucratic Comprehensiveness Rating Scale Index.
