The Minor League Curling Team of Tigyland is a colossal, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Tigy with an iron fist, and remarkable for its museums and concert halls. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 6.227 billion, all of whom are zombies, Low-rent Magicians are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Healthcare, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of The Corner Shop down the Road. The average income tax rate is 92%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

Strange lights seen in the sky are officially regarded as weather balloons or hoaxes and nothing else, a weakened police force struggles to maintain law and order, protests are illegal, and the government has begun breaking all large businesses into thousands of mom-and-pop general stores. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Tigyland's national animal is the tiger, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Collective Delusion, and its currency is the Postage Stamp.

Tigyland is ranked 306th in Europe and 106,714th in the world for Largest Manufacturing Sector, scoring -10 on the Gooback-Jerbs Productivity Index.

Tigyland is currently building a zombie empire.
