A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

A new generation of aquariumless hotels are being built under government supervision, badminton was recently banned due to 'unacceptable violence' inherent to the game, CDs are regularly copy-protected, and shops were recently ransacked as cigarettes returned to the shelves. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Tigyland's national animal is the tiger, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Collective Delusion, and its currency is the Postage Stamp.

Tigyland is ranked 82nd in Europe and 7,979th in the world for Largest Public Sector, scoring 23 on the Bureaucratic Comprehensiveness Rating Scale Index.
