The Socialist Shogunate of Tibetan Aizu is a gargantuan, genial nation, ruled by Comrade Shogun Tokugawa Iezuka with an iron fist, and notable for its anti-smoking policies. Its compassionate, cynical population of 13.459 billion are proud of their wide-ranging civil freedoms, and those who aren't tend to be dragged off the streets by men in dark suits and hustled into cars with tinted windows.

Same-sex marriages are increasingly common, there have been sightings of people walking around dressed in nothing but leopard-skin g-strings for 'religious reasons', military recruitment numbers are down as citizens object on 'moral grounds', and Tibetan Aizu's children are widely acknowledged as the most foul-mouthed in the region. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Tibetan Aizu's national animal is the yukkuri, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Gensokyo Native Faith, and its currency is the mL.

Tibetan Aizu is ranked 75th in Asia and 99,832nd in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -39 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
