The Grunge Rocking Empire of Three Days Grace is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Adam Gontier with an even hand, and notable for its anti-smoking policies. Its hard-nosed population of 1.947 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Defence, although Law & Order and Education are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Home. The average income tax rate is 66%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

The nation is ravaged by daily union strikes, the public health bureaucracy is wrapped in miles of red tape, the armed forces are locked in an expensive and bloody war abroad to stamp out possible terrorists, and the controversial show 'Who Wants to be an Immigrant?' has become wildly popular. Crime is well under control, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Three Days Grace's national animal is the Bully, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Pain and Breaking, and its currency is the Unbreakable Heart.

Three Days Grace is ranked 1,033rd in Lazarus and 25,384th in the world for Largest Public Sector, scoring 16 on the Bureaucratic Comprehensiveness Rating Scale Index.
