The Dominion of Thisbia is a massive, genial nation, ruled by Queen Tanya Elizabeth with a fair hand, and notable for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 4.624 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Education, although Defence and Healthcare are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Imors. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 86%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Truth is often impossible to tell from fiction on the evening news, highschool principals regularly send armed truancy patrols to drag problem students to school, recent protests against birds flying too low have resulted in bloodshed, and CEOs can't hear the term 'Fire Sale' without bursting into tears. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is moderate. Thisbia's national animal is the Dolphin, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the magnar.
