Military spending is on the increase, government officials across Thiemaa are being "encouraged" to adopt Lolcats to set an example for the populace, the recently unemployed can often be seen at the local homeless shelter, and a survey of the nation's rivers and children has shown that pesticide levels are at an all-time regional high. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Thiemaa's national animal is the Lolcat, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Thiem.
