The People's Republic of The Unforged is a massive, socially progressive nation, ruled by Me The Burner with a fair hand, and notable for its unlimited-speed roads. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 2.402 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Education, although Social Welfare and the Environment are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Klugsch. The average income tax rate is 81%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Students are wary of colorfully decorated new teachers with names like Professor Pipsqueak, murder rates are on the rise as the popularity of soylent products grows, fewer people are bathing as citizens must show ration stamps before they can turn on their faucets, and all guns must be registered. Crime is totally unknown. The Unforged's national animal is the Sun, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Batz.

The Unforged is ranked 4,053rd in the West Pacific and 95,966th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -27 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
