Overview • PeopleGovernmentEconomyTrendAnalysis

The Enlightened Republic of the Tibetians is a colossal, genial nation, ruled by The Dalai Lama with a fair hand, and remarkable for its hatred of cheese. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 8.967 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Education, and the Environment. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Lhasa. The average income tax rate is 22%, but much higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Wildlife near farms is slowly becoming extinct, corporations donate huge sums of money to favored politicians, parents must choose their children's names from a government-mandated master list, and people are now classified as male, female, or genderqueer. Crime is relatively low, thanks to a well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Tibetians's national animal is the Red Dragon, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the srang.

the Tibetians is ranked 22nd in Funen and 86,487th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -20 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
