Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 4.629 billion live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, liberal individuals concentrates mainly on Social Welfare, although Education and Healthcare are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of CAPITAL. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Information Technology industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Book Publishing.

The Source2 is notorious for its citizens' infidelity, manual labourers must be willing to have cybernetic limbs to get a job, scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, and space research funding has hit a recent high while several military bases are being closed down. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is a major problem, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. The Source2's national animal is the ANIMAL, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is RELIGION, and its currency is the CURRENCY.
