The Secret Empire of The Red Mafia is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, ruled by the Overlord of Peace with a fair hand, and notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 12.884 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Defence, although Education and Social Welfare are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Old Las Vegas. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Automobile Manufacturing and Book Publishing.

Hundreds of thousands of convicts work as slaves in The Red Mafia's many privately-owned prisons, teams of painters are converting road signs from horse lengths to kilometers, colleges adhere to rigid ethnic quotas for admissions, and fewer people are bathing as citizens must show ration stamps before they can turn on their faucets. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Red Mafia's national animal is the husky dog, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Pound Sterling.

The Red Mafia is ranked 7th in Hyrule and 6,825th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring 9 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
