The Dictatorship of The Phil is a massive, safe nation, remarkable for its burgeoning Great Phil population. Its compassionate, cynical population of 1.303 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of The Phil City. The average income tax rate is 48%, but much higher for the wealthy. A robust private sector is led by the Tourism industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Soda Sales.

Shanty towns have formed around the newly rebuilt commercial district, The Phil has designated The Phil City as its capital city, droves of former desperados are applying to join the border police, and there's a shortage of swinging hot spots as land development grinds to a halt. Crime is totally unknown. The Phil's national animal is the Great Phil, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Philstone.
