The Sharpshooting Conservatives of The National Rifle Association is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by David Keene with an iron fist, and remarkable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 1.765 billion are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, pro-business individuals devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Social Equality and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Fairfax. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Information Technology and Gambling.

City rooftops are pockmarked with the shattered remains of experimental delivery drones, tourists are kicked out if they express interest in their national sport, suppression of pro-democracy protests is a daily occurrence, and the richest citizens live in sheltered private citadels. Crime is crippling. The National Rifle Association's national animal is the bald eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Guns, and its currency is the dollar.

The National Rifle Association is ranked 2nd in Conservative Paradise and 3,310th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring 21 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
