The Dominion of The Mithar Empire is a gargantuan, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Likako Nehio with an even hand, and notable for its keen interest in outer space. Its compassionate population of 10.791 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Law & Order, and Social Equality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Mithra. The average income tax rate is 80%. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Military service is compulsory, ten-year-olds regularly found their own political parties, cars are banned, and pharmacies close down as medicinal drugs are sold freely by the government. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Mithar Empire's national animal is the jagged lizard, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Scionism, and its currency is the mith.

The Mithar Empire is ranked 1st in New Sorvun Republic and 12,573rd in the world for Largest Public Sector, scoring 20 on the Bureaucratic Comprehensiveness Rating Scale Index.
