The Dominion of The Mallorean Army is a massive, safe nation, renowned for its complete lack of prisons. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 1.382 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Education, and Social Welfare. The average income tax rate is 26%, but much higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Beef-Based Agriculture.

Citizens are barcoded to keep track of their movements, the latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller, elections have been outlawed, and thieves are flogged in public for their crimes. Crime is well under control, thanks to a well-funded police force. The Mallorean Army's national animal is the Rivan, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Mark.
