The Imperial Fortress Reich of The Kraven Corporation is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by Reichmarshall Deitrich with an iron fist, and notable for its prohibition of alcohol. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 15.553 billion are kept under strict control by the oppressive government, which measures its success by the nation's GDP and refers to individual citizens as "human resources."

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as the Environment and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Fortress Norska. The average income tax rate is 95%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Uranium Mining.

Politicians are often seen with soldiers pointing guns at their heads, conscientious objectors are hanged as traitors, citizens are forbidden from leaving the country, and citizens have reported seeing strange rays of light emanating from the moon. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. The Kraven Corporation's national animal is the Double Headed Eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is The Worship of Law and Order, and its currency is the Credit.

The Kraven Corporation is ranked 10th in Gholgoth and 83,205th in the world for Largest Welfare Programs, scoring 9 on the Safety Net Mesh Density Rating.
