The Vast Territory of The Klingon Empire- is a massive, safe nation, ruled by the Supreme Council with an iron fist, and notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 1.163 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and the Environment receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Qo'noS. The average income tax rate is 90%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Newborns are being raised as mindless killing machines, a determined opposition debates the relative benefits of Arial and Times New Roman for days on end, citizens are only allowed to view government-approved TV shows, and The Klingon Empire- is increasingly belligerent on the international stage. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Klingon Empire-'s national animal is the targ, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Darsek.
