Its compassionate, intelligent population of 3.506 billion love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Religion & Spirituality, and Social Welfare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of God's Kingdom. The average income tax rate is 92%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Automobile Manufacturing industry.

Schools have extensive counseling programs for troubled students, most of the nation's wealthy aristocrats are dentists, violently opinionated speakers can be heard preaching their hateful views on every street corner, and the study of medicine is popular throughout The Godly States of America. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Godly States of America's national animal is the Eagle, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Christianity, and its currency is the Blessing.

The Godly States of America is ranked 1st in The Unified Christians Alliance and 6,279th in the world for Most Income Equality, scoring 184 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
