Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 1.165 billion enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Education. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Tourism industry, followed by Book Publishing and Gambling.

Marijuana is legal in the privacy of your own home, expensive lawyers are hired to defend citizens in court for public urination charges against their pets, houses and businesses are bulldozed to make way for ever-expanding cemeteries, and 'The Anti-Government Hour' is a popular programme on many of The Cazland's radio stations. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Cazland's national animal is the Cat, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the The Cazba.
