The United States of The Ancient World is a colossal, economically powerful nation, ruled by President Matt Leaf with a fair hand, and renowned for its keen interest in outer space. The compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 5.487 billion Ancient Worldians enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Commerce, and Social Welfare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Trinity. The average income tax rate is 98%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

The alarmingly racist TV show 'Bigtopians Say the Darndest Things' is a hit, major cities shut down as their local sports team takes to the field every day, dozens of additional foreign policy specialists have been sent to the country's WA Mission, and high-income earners pay a 100% tax rate. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The Ancient World's national animal is the Boa Constrictor, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Christianity, and its currency is the Shale.

The Ancient World is ranked 10th in Tychrome and 9,264th in the world for Most Scientifically Advanced, scoring 195 on the Kurzweil Singularity Index.
