Overview • PeopleGovernmentEconomyTrendAnalysis

The Afrikan Worker's Republic of The AmaXhosa is a massive, genial nation, ruled by Onkgopotse Tiro with an even hand, and remarkable for its strong anti-business politics. Its compassionate population of 2.677 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Equality, and the Environment. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Soweto. The average income tax rate is 84%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

There have been reports of people marrying housepets, a niche industry catering to S&M enthusiasts has sprung up, frequent fliers are obliged to submit to invasive security procedures by government security, and Red Cross demand for body bags is rising while sutures go unused. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. The AmaXhosa's national animal is the Jackal, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Pan-Africanism, and its currency is the Mpilo.

The AmaXhosa is ranked 15th in Angola and 4,705th in the world for Most Income Equality, scoring 188 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
