The Federation of Teytopia is a huge, genial nation, ruled by Leader with an even hand, and renowned for its restrictive gun laws. Its compassionate population of 948 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Healthcare, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Teytopia City. The average income tax rate is 52%, and even higher for the wealthy. A small but healthy private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

Long arduous trials are held for the most trivial of offences, frequent fliers are obliged to submit to invasive security procedures by government security, citizens wishing to be parents must undertake a series of gruelling tests to evaluate their capabilities, and Leader has just been declared ruler of Teytopia in an international press conference. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Teytopia's national animal is the Fox Squirrel, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Nicker.
