The Empire of Tetrisia is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Johann Strauß with an even hand, and remarkable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 1.416 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and the Environment. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Rotation City. The average income tax rate is 43%, but much higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Information Technology and Tourism.

The police have reaffirmed their tough stance on drugs, protests are prohibited from blocking traffic, protests are legal but strictly supervised, and elections have become procedural nightmares due to voters persistently rejecting candidates. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Tetrisia's national animal is the Alicorn, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Krosis.

Tetrisia is ranked 97th in Pony Lands and 102,557th in the world for Largest Mining Sector, scoring -2 on the Blue Sky Asbestos Index.
