The United States of Tepalcatlalpan is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by President Ortega with an even hand, and notable for its restrictive gun laws. Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 3.196 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Law & Order receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Xochimilco. The average income tax rate is 43%, but much higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Book Publishing industry.

All streets are privately owned toll roads, the government has cut its subsidies for all special interest groups, the upper class have been throwing riots after hunting was recently banned, and students cut up leftover Tepalcates during Arts and Crafts. Crime is totally unknown. Tepalcatlalpan's national animal is the Ajolote, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Tepalcate.
