The Great LaVeyan Republic of Tallsville is a colossal, environmentally stunning nation, ruled by Brandonis the Great with an even hand, and renowned for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 5.422 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it concentrates mainly on Defence, although Law & Order and Education are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Alphabet City. The average income tax rate is 85%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing, Automobile Manufacturing, and Uranium Mining industries.

Female newsreaders distract the nation by breastfeeding during broadcast, inter-species marriages are ignored by the government, the people of Tallsville are renowned for their nihilistic attitudes, and urban high-volume mailers now receive their mail via chauffeur-driven limousines. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Tallsville's national animal is the Tallsvillian Lynx, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Tallian.

Tallsville is ranked 21st in Hyrule and 93,331st in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -24 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
