The Semi-Presidential Republic of Swilatia is a gargantuan, cultured nation, renowned for its unlimited-speed roads. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 14.982 billion live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, liberal, pro-business individuals devotes most of its attentions to Commerce, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Law & Order receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Vilvek. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Gambling, Soda Sales, and Cheese Exports industries.

Citizens can be frequently spotted going about their business stark naked, children as young as eight can be found working in factories, an increasing percentage of the population's youth have homosexual parents, and teenagers across the country are celebrating the defeat of a national curfew bill. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Swilatia's national animal is the fire elf, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Swilla.

Swilatia is ranked 40th in the Rejected Realms and 2,813th in the world for Largest Trout Fishing Sector, scoring 7 on the Nemo Depletion Efficiency Index.
