The Trade Confederation of Svunbrink is a massive, economically powerful nation, ruled by Helen Fjorg with an even hand, and notable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 3.673 billion are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Defence, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Kryköping. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 66%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Beef-Based Agriculture, Information Technology, and Book Publishing industries.

Birds and children's kites are regularly brought down by anti-aircraft fire, recruitment posters proclaim the army to be both fabulous and fashionable, crime suspects are forced to submit to blood testing, and the Supreme Court vehemently protects civil rights and the right to privacy. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Svunbrink's national animal is the Valkyrie, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Krona.

Svunbrink is ranked 16th in Skyrim and 8,069th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring 5 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
