Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 2.422 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defence, and the Environment. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Shenjtë Kodër. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 77%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Information Technology and Tourism.

The bonfire of the old paper records can be seen for miles around Shenjtë Kodër, mining is the nation's most dangerous occupation, midnight raids drag couples from their homes in the name of decency, and refugees from other nations are flocking to Sturisoma's border. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Sturisoma's national animal is the lightning bug, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Sturisoman Orthodox Church, and its currency is the koob.

Sturisoma is ranked 9th in Brochis and 13,195th in the world for Most Eco-Friendly Governments, scoring 55 on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness Index.
