Teenagers stay out into the wee hours of the morning "stargazing", expats return home to a government devoid of social and environmental agencies, marketing departments of corporate giants compete to sponsor little league teams, and the commercialisation of highly deadly weapons has instilled Stevid with a very polite populace. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Stevid's national animal is the Coyote, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Roman Catholicism, and its currency is the Pound.
