The Corporate Republic of Stellascura is a colossal, cultured nation, remarkable for its barren, inhospitable landscape. Its hard-nosed population of 5.275 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Commerce, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Stellascura City. The average income tax rate is 65%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing, Book Publishing, and Arms Manufacturing industries.

Airship use has soared while property values beneath their routes have plummeted, drug distribution is tightly controlled by the government, the government seizes private property for the 'good of the people', and almost all of Stellascura's water is piped into the country from abroad for exorbitant prices. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Stellascura's national animal is the mantichora, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the krona.

Stellascura is ranked 2nd in CCCP and 20,922nd in the world for Most Influential, scoring 23 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
