The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

A fashion designer has been arrested for inciting hatred after claiming redheads couldn't pull off vermillion, schools have extensive counseling programs for troubled students, meat-eating is frowned upon, and the government has cut taxes in the face of widespread tax evasion. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Starhunter's national animal is the Imperial Dragon, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Imperial Platinum.
