The United Socialist States of Soviet Sasquatch is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Leader with an iron fist, and renowned for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 3.225 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Commerce receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Moss on a cow. The average income tax rate is 69%, and even higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Arms Manufacturing.

A government program is underway to revitalize Soviet Sasquatch's beaches, Leader has been self-declared as the Most Supreme Magnificent Overlord of Everything You Ever Saw, suppression of pro-democracy protests is a daily occurrence, and the police crack down on tax evaders without mercy. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Soviet Sasquatch's national animal is the t-55 tank, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the ruble.

Soviet Sasquatch is ranked 74th in USSR and 77,981st in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -16 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
