The Guarded Republic of Southern Anglesey is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Chancellor Vaytali with an iron fist, and renowned for its museums and concert halls. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 1.273 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Iwziigrad. The average income tax rate is 69%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

There has been a series of riots between local cannibals and health food advocates, conductors wield diamond-encrusted batons to fit in with their freshly gilded surroundings, a fashion designer has been arrested for inciting hatred after claiming redheads couldn't pull off vermillion, and nuclear warheads are frequently launched into space as a warning to invading meteoroids. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Southern Anglesey's national animal is the Red Bear, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Anglo-Pound.

Southern Anglesey is ranked 2nd in British Crown Dependencies and 29,878th in the world for Most Income Equality, scoring 151 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
