The Kingdom of Slazenagara is a massive, devout nation, ruled by King Christian IX with an iron fist, and remarkable for its sprawling nuclear power plants. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 4.921 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ruslov. The average income tax rate is 94%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Book Publishing.

The police are tightening their grip on alcohol smugglers, politicians accepting drinks in bars are executed for taking bribes, suppression of pro-democracy protests is a daily occurrence, and a punitive tax has been placed on harmful emissions. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Slazenagara's national animal is the Wild Dog, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Kovianity, and its currency is the Slazan.

Slazenagara is ranked 13th in Judea and 88,518th in the world for Most Compassionate Citizens, scoring -62 on the Kitten Softness Rating.
