The Kingdom of Slazenagara is a colossal, devout nation, ruled by King Christian IX with an iron fist, and notable for its museums and concert halls. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 5.533 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Commerce. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ruslov. The average income tax rate is 95%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Automobile Manufacturing industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Book Publishing.

All streets are privately owned toll roads, houses and businesses are bulldozed to make way for ever-expanding cemeteries, the government is spending billions of taxpayer Slazans to support the Automobile Manufacturing industry, and citizens must pay to enjoy Slazenagara's pristine beaches. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Slazenagara's national animal is the Wild Dog, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Kovianity, and its currency is the Slazan.

Slazenagara is ranked 85th in Vaalbara and 98,730th in the world for Largest Trout Fishing Sector, scoring -7 on the Nemo Depletion Efficiency Index.
