The Jewish Kingdom of Sionis Prioratus is a colossal, economically powerful nation, ruled by Dagobert VI de Saint-Clair with a fair hand, and remarkable for its irreverence towards religion. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 8.898 billion live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, liberal, pro-business individuals devotes most of its attentions to Education, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and the Environment receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Rennes-le-Chateau. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Book Publishing, Tourism, and Retail industries.

The government is promoting multicultural values with the new 'Just Be Nice, OK?' initiative, urban high-volume mailers now receive their mail via chauffeur-driven limousines, a National Academy regulates grammar and usage, and almost all of Sionis Prioratus's water is piped into the country from abroad for exorbitant prices. Crime is relatively low. Sionis Prioratus's national animal is the Phoenix, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Catharism and Judaism, and its currency is the Royal.
