The Viscaelian Territories of Sheariliik is a gargantuan, safe nation, ruled by Viscaeleus the Great with an iron fist, and remarkable for its keen interest in outer space. Its compassionate, cynical population of 13.591 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Religion & Spirituality and Social Welfare receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of New Eden. The average income tax rate is 94%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

All major public areas are watched by police surveillance cameras, the country has been 'going shopping' by annexing nearby nations for their resources, most of the military's funding goes into researching space-age weaponry, and the nation's new foreign policy of 'very disproportionate retribution' has its neighbors on edge. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Sheariliik's national animal is the zombie, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is Equality, and its currency is the star.

Sheariliik is ranked 136th in Versutian Federation and 59,405th in the world for Most Income Equality, scoring 120 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
