The Republic of Sever Common is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its absence of drug laws. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 2.483 billion are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whoever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The small, liberal government appears to have no policy direction whatsoever. The average income tax rate is 21%, but much higher for the wealthy. A tiny private sector is dominated by the Uranium Mining industry.

Voting is voluntary and surveillance cameras are banned. Crime is a problem, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Sever Common's national animal is the deer, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the dollar.

Sever Common is ranked 42nd in Banuhal and 30,542nd in the world for Most Income Equality, scoring 150 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
