The Elders of Sedore is a massive, cultured nation, ruled by Skjoldr with a fair hand, and remarkable for its anti-smoking policies. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 3.723 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Welfare, and Healthcare. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Royal City. The average income tax rate is 80%, and even higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Every product goes through extensive safety-testing by the government, citizens applying for their first jobs face fierce competition from the homeless, the study of medicine is popular throughout Sedore, and political parties are banned from advertising and receiving private donations. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is moderate, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Sedore's national animal is the Wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Credit.

Sedore is ranked 59th in Skyrim and 61,352nd in the world for Most Influential, scoring 9 on the Soft Power Disbursement Rating.
