Much of Sec-12's computer network is controlled by a rampant artificial intelligence, a weakened police force struggles to maintain law and order, organised sports are frowned upon as frivolous, and Jennifer Government is a bestseller. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Sec-12's national animal is the Panda, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Diamond.
