Its compassionate, hard-working, cynical population of 20.206 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Law & Order, and Social Equality. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Segety. The average income tax rate is 68%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

A survey of the nation's rivers and children has shown that pesticide levels are at an all-time regional high, Sebytania's soft-touch approach to diplomacy has made it known as the 'push-over' of the region, the government is cutting back on the number of political prisoners executed each year, and meat-eating is frowned upon. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Sebytania's national animal is the brown bear, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the speuto.

Sebytania is ranked 6th in Asia and 2,613th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring 25 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
