The Imperial Dominion of Sdaeriji is a gargantuan, cultured nation, ruled by Emperor Iluso XXVI with an iron fist, and renowned for its complete lack of public education. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 23.217 billion Sdaerijians are rabid consumers, partly through choice and partly because the government tells them to and dissenters tend to vanish from their homes at night.

The minute, corrupt, pro-business, well-organized government, or what there is of one, prioritizes Industry, with Defense and Law & Order also on the agenda, while Environment and Social Policy aren't funded at all. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Old Sdaeriji. Income tax is unheard of.

The frighteningly efficient Sdaerijian economy, worth an astonishing 18,183 trillion Imperials a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Uranium Mining, Automobile Manufacturing, and Information Technology. Average income is a breathtaking 783,192 Imperials, but there is a vast disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 7,277,161 per year while the poor average 7,792, a ratio of 933 to 1.

Door-to-door salesmen are frequently beaten up by 'vigilantes', Imperial Dragon racing stadiums are open 24/7, Animal Liberationists are regularly jailed, and cities are engulfed by smog. Crime is pervasive, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Sdaeriji's national animal is the Imperial Dragon, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its national religion is Ilsuoism.

Sdaeriji is ranked 21st in Wysteria and 1,068th in the world for Largest Public Sector, scoring 51 on the Bureaucratic Comprehensiveness Rating Scale Index.
