The Unholy Realm of Scorpions Army is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by Doom Hammer with an iron fist, and remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, cynical population of 12.83 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Defence, although Law & Order and Education are secondary priorities. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of The Ark. The average income tax rate is 100%. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Arms Manufacturing industry.

Children as young as twelve are conscripted into the armed forces, Red Cross demand for body bags are rising while sutures are decreasing, guns are banned, and the nation is ravaged by daily union strikes. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Scorpions Army's national animal is the Dragon, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is Christianity, and its currency is the Dollar.

Scorpions Army is ranked 13th in Great Britain and Ireland and 98,931st in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -35 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
