The tenet of free speech is held dear, mobile phone masts are being erected all over the country, the lowest age at which one can marry has been recently lowered to 12, and the nation is experiencing a severe shortage of sporting events. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Schlueter's national animal is the kitten, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the gumball.
