Its compassionate, hard-working, intelligent population of 916 million hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, liberal government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Welfare, and Healthcare. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Tourism, Book Publishing, and Retail industries.

Innocent defendants often plea guilty for fear of receiving a much harsher sentence before jury, skateparks can be found in every city, cities are engulfed by smog, and the government is pouring money into 'Operation Enduring Democracy'. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown. SchildConstruct's national animal is the Construct, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Schild.
