The Mighty King of Sauna is a massive, economically powerful nation, remarkable for its devotion to social welfare. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 1.77 billion are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed. People who have good jobs and work quietly at them are lauded; others are viewed with suspicion.

It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of The Royal Tyler Kazakov City. The average income tax rate is 60%, and even higher for the wealthy. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Tourism.

Drug distribution is tightly controlled by the government, the art of conversation has been rediscovered, child adoption by homosexual couples has been outlawed, and only the rich can afford the latest medical innovations. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Sauna's national animal is the Elephant, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Dollar.

Sauna is ranked 6th in The Dominion of Markarth and 14,739th in the world for Largest Mining Sector, scoring 4 on the Blue Sky Asbestos Index.
