The Community of SarahJayne is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by Sarah Jayne with an iron fist, and remarkable for its hatred of cheese. Its compassionate, cynical population of 5.617 billion are ruled by a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up.

The small, corrupt government juggles the competing demands of Healthcare, the Environment, and Education. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of SarahJayne City. The average income tax rate is 12%, but much higher for the wealthy. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

All-natural foods are becoming a major fad, dozens of additional foreign policy specialists have been sent to the country's WA Mission, the government regularly hires contractors to construct high rise apartments, and the armed forces are locked in an expensive and bloody war abroad to stamp out possible terrorists. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown. SarahJayne's national animal is the kitten, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, its national religion is SarahJayne-ism, and its currency is the sj.

SarahJayne is ranked 1,315th in the Rejected Realms and 52,903rd in the world for Most Income Equality, scoring 127 on the Marx-Engels Emancipation Scale.
