The Undead Nation of Sanchezonallet is a gargantuan, economically powerful nation, ruled by Lord Sanchez with an iron fist, and remarkable for its ban on automobiles. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 17.665 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt, moralistic, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is effectively ruled by the Department of Defence, with areas such as Social Equality and the Environment receiving almost no funds by comparison. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Jasonia. The average income tax rate is 99%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Arms Manufacturing and Gambling.

People choose marriage partners by buying a lottery ticket, the government has declared its commitment to multilateralism, tourists need only sign on the dotted line to become citizens, and the police have been swamped with requests to stay up past bedtime. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Sanchezonallet's national animal is the zombie, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is Sanchezism, and its currency is the croid.

Sanchezonallet is ranked 1st in Eagleland and 838th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring 43 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
