The Dominion of Sacraq is a colossal, safe nation, ruled by Brfaar Dryzer Inuin with an iron fist, and notable for its prohibition of alcohol. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 8.505 billion are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, corrupt, moralistic, pro-business individuals is mainly concerned with Defence, although Law & Order and Commerce are on the agenda. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Sarim. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 2%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Uranium Mining and Information Technology.

Tourists need only sign on the dotted line to become citizens, the government regularly hires contractors to construct high rise apartments, terrified tympanists are finding themselves on the front lines armed only with kettledrums, and the state has declared war on the environment and environmentalists by association. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force. Sacraq's national animal is the black mamba, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, its national religion is The Saaren of Aval Inuin, and its currency is the saum.

Sacraq is ranked 1st in Evil and 926th in the world for Most Extreme, scoring 46 on the Paul-Nader Subjective Decentrality Index.
