The Federation of Ryllt is a massive, safe nation, ruled by Leader with an even hand, and notable for its museums and concert halls. Its hard-nosed population of 2.006 billion have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Defence, Education, and Law & Order. It meets every day to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ryllt City. The average income tax rate is 87%, and even higher for the wealthy. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Book Publishing and Beef-Based Agriculture.

Businessmen have been raging over recent 'gender equality' policies in the workplace, politicians have to be granted day-release from prison to speak on bills, the sound of wooden legs echo throughout Ryllt after the recent introduction of the Foot Tax, and the commercialisation of highly deadly weapons has instilled Ryllt with a very polite populace. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Ryllt's national animal is the Horse, which is also the nation's favorite main course, its national religion is a major religion, and its currency is the praty.

Ryllt is ranked 3,902nd in the Pacific and 93,165th in the world for Shortest Average Lifespan, scoring -24 on the Bus Surprisal Index.
