The mining industry is making inroads into environmentally sensitive areas, the government is a clear-cut case of tyranny by majority, citizens are regularly found digging for treasure in their gardens, and a referendum must be held in order for any new law to be passed. Crime is relatively low, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Romania Mare1's national animal is the chicken, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Lions.
